Det är härligt med helger, i fredags städade vi huset tillsammans och igår handlade vi maten för kommande vecka och fyllde upp kylskåpet. Det är en härlig känsla med ett fullt kylskåp och en full matkällare, det kan ju komma en zombieinvasion och då måste man ju vara förberedd. 🙂
Weekends are lovely, this Friday we cleaned the house together and yesterday we bought the food for the week and filled up the fridge. It is a great feeling with a full fridge and pantry. You’ll never now when there might be a zombie invasion soon and then you have to be prepared. 🙂
Idag är tanken att vi ska måla om proppskåpet i källaren för knaggarna i träet har kommit fram trots tidigare målning med spärrgrund, taklisterna i samma rum ska även få en strykning. Det är sista dagen på skidskytte-VM så det lär bli en hel del framför tv:n också och hålla tummarna för att Martin Fourcade får en sista bra dag på VM.
Today I am going to repaint the cabinet containing the fuse box in the basement and the cornices in the same room will also get a fresh layer of paint. It is the last day of the world championships in biathlon so some of the day will be spent in front of the tv cheering for Martin Fourcade.
Jag tänkte däremot visa er några av våra senaste inköp från veckan, det har kommit in nya tavlor här hemma. Vi har köpt två oljemålningar av Christer Boberg, abstrakta målningar med mycket färg och jag gillade dem direkt när jag såg dem på auktionen. Vi köpte även en etsning som ni kommer att få se senare när jag har gjort i ordning i hallen nere där tanken är att den ska få sin plats.
Jag har även köpt mig ett par örhängen i silver på en nätauktion och jag tyckte om den snurrade formen och längden på dem. Jag blev också glatt överraskad att det var lite härlig tyngd i dem. Vi får se vad nästa vecka bjuder på för fynd! Jag ska även försöka att börja att rensa ut här hemma snart men får se när jag orkar ta tag i detta.
I just have to show you some of the purchases from the passing week, two new paintings have entered our home. They are two oil paintings by Christer Boberg, abstract with a lot of color and I loved them right away when I saw them at the auction. We also bought an etching, I will show you that when I have finished the hallway in the basement, where I will put it.
I have also bought myself a pair of earrings in silver on an auction online. I really like the size and the spinned shape, when they came in the mail I also noticed that they had a nice weight to them. My ambition is to clear out stuff from here and not buy more. It has not quite worked yet but when I get more energy I will try to start doing that, but who can resist a good bargain…
