Vi har påbörjat en utrensning i vår matkällare och ska försöka sälja, skänka och slänga en massa saker för att få mer utrymme för de saker vi vill behålla. Vi har en rätt så stor matkällare som är kvadratisk och jag älskar den verkligen! Perfekt för viner, humidoren, konserver och annan förvaring.
We have started to get rid of a lot things in our home, we will try to sell, donate and throw out anything that we don’t use so that the things we like can get more space. We have a large food cellar that I absolutely adore! It is perfect for wines, the humidor, groceries and other things to store.
Vi ska nu göra den ännu finare med ommålning av väggar, tak och golv. Vi kommer att göra egna skjutdörrar för att dölja förvaring och mat så det enda som kommer att synas är vinet i stort sett. Vi kommer att visa er hur vi gör det här på bloggen när vi kommer så långt.
We will make it even better so we are painting the ceiling, the walls and the floor white. We will also build sliding doors to cover the storage beautifully. We will show you how we do that here on the blog when we get to it.
Allt i matkällaren kommer i stort sett att bli vitt så de grå plaströren stör mig. Vi gjorde stambyte i huset för ett par år sedan och de vackra vita gamla gjutjärnsrören byttes till gråa i plast. De är verkligen inte vackra! Nu har jag målat dem med den vackra matta vita kalkfärgen Sylitol Bio från Caparol som jag använder både till tak och väggar, visst blev det bra! Jag tycker att de blev lika snygga som de gamla rören. Jag vet inte hur tålig färgen är men rören sitter så att de inte utsätts för något slitage att tala om.
Det här är ett litet tips för dig som hatar dina plaströr lika mycket som jag gjorde.
Almost everything in our food cellar will be white so grey pipes is not so hot. We had the pipes changed in our house a couple of years ago so the beautiful old white ones in cast iron were changed to grey pipes in plastic. I did not like them! So when I painted the walls in a white paint Sylitol Bio from Caparol for concrete walls I painted the pipes too and they look great. It almost looks exactly like the old ones. I do not now if the paint will come off after a while but it doesn’t feel like it will and the pipes are not positioned so that you will have much contact with them.
This is a tips for you out there who hate your grey plastic pipes as much as I did.
