The chair has to be the best furniture in the house, it can be placed around a dining table, at a desk or in a corner as a sculpture it so versatile. Now it is also trendy to mix different chairs in the dining room, why settle with just one design.

En stol som jag precis har fått upp ögonen för, sent omsider, är Protolith som är formgiven av Annie Evelyn och Ian Henderson 2013. Den har den enkla och vackra formen på stol som jag verkligen älskar, det enkla kan vara så vackert när det görs på rätt sätt och det är det här. Annie Evelyn har utvecklat en egen konstruktion av stolsits som formar sig efter kroppen så även om stolen tillverkad i hållbara och hårda material så är den bekväm att sitta på. Den här stolen är tillverkad i metall och betong, så vacker!
A chair that I just discovered later probably than everyone else is Protolith designed by Annie Evelyn in collaboration with Ian Henderson 2013. It has that clean and “simple” design that I just love, it look simple but is far from it and that is so beautiful. Annie Evelyn has developed a new construction that make the seat on the chair shape itself after the body. Despite that it is made of hard material the seat get squished to a comfortable seating. This chair is made of metal and concrete and is such a beauty.

En annan stol med samma konstruktion är Ash Scotty som är tillverkad i ask, formgiven av Annie Evelyn i samarbete med Scotty Albrecht. De båda stolarna är liknande och så vackra båda två med helt olika uttryck. Jag älskar de vackra mönster som konstruktionen i sitsen ger! I och med att de tillverkas i så hållbara material så kommer de att hålla i många år och den tidlösa formgivningen för dem till framtida klassiker. The chairs are similar and yet very different, this one in ash feels softer and more natural and the other one has more edge to it. I love the patterns in the seatings that the construction create!
