It was originally designed in the 60s, by Rodolfo Bonetto, but is was been updated by the industrial designer Michael Young a couple of years ago. The basic shape is the same as the old model, that was called TS207. The new one, by Michael Young is made from pressed aluminium and, like the previous model, can be fitted into a leather bag for more durable portability. 
Urpsrungligen formgavs den av Rodolfo Benetto på -60-talet, men de har uppdaterats av industridesignern Michael Young för några år sedan. Den grundläggande formen är densamma som den gamla modellen, som hette TS207. Den nya, av Michael Young, är gjord av pressad aluminium och liksom den förra modellen följer det med ett läderfodral som gör den lite mer oöm. 
What I particularly like, apart from the basic great industrial and timeless design, is the simple control functions in the shape of four physical buttons. Touch buttons can be great, but they always lack the tactile response you get from physical buttons.
Det som jag verkligen gillar, förutom den fina industriella och tidlösa designen, är de enkla kontrollerna i form av fyra fysiska knappar. Touch-knappar kan vara bra, men de saknar den taktila responsen man får från fysiska knappar. 
The new Brionvega WearIt is designed to work with most modern devices, connected via Bluetooth or an aux-in. It also has a hands free microphone. It has a run time of up to 24 hours and it takes 3 hours to charge fully. Additionally, it functions as a power bank so that you can charge your phone off the Brionvega WearIt.
Den nya Brionvega WearIt är gjord för att fungera med de flesta moderna prylar, anslutna via Bluetooth eller aux-ingången. Den har även en mikrofon för telefonsamtal. Den har en batteritid på upp till 24 timmar och det tar tre timmar att ladda den fullt. Dessutom kan den fungera som en batterireserv att ladda telefonen från. 
With a seemingly endless stream of portable Bluetooth speakers, but with very varying quality in materials, functions as well as design, I really like Brionvega’s approach here – timeless design and long lasting materials.
Med en närmast ändlös dröm av bärbara bluetooth-högtalare, men med väldigt varierande kvalitet både i material, funktioner och formgivning,tycker jag verkligen om Brionvegas bidrag här – tidlös design och hållbara material.
